Gardaí appeal for witnesses of collision where car rear-ended e-scooter in Limerick

Driver of the e-scooter suffered neck and head injuries
GARDAÍ in Limerick have appealed for information following a road traffic collision involving a car and e-scooter.
A car collided with an e-scooter on the Corbally Road on Friday, December 6, at 6pm. The car rear-ended the e-scooter and knocked the driver off. They suffered head and neck injuries.
“Both were travelling towards the city centre,” said garda John Finnerty of Henry St garda station.
“This occurred at the traffic lights at the intersection of the Mill Road. The driver of the car stopped and spoke to the other driver for a few minutes.
“Then he drove off. No details were exchanged.”
The driver of the e-scooter was removed to University Hospital Limerick (UHL) by ambulance.
