Holistic practitioners team up to raise funds for Limerick Suicide Watch
The first of these charity events raised over €1,500 for the Marie Keating Foundation
A SPECIAL charity event is to take place at the South Court Hotel in Raheen later this month to raise much needed funds for Limerick Suicide Watch.
A group of holistic practitioners, Road to Renewal, have decided to collaborate to run events for various charities, while at the same time, showcasing the many treatments they offer.
This will be the third event of the tour with the addition of new therapists and exhibitors. The first of these charity events took place in November 2024 where the group raised over €1,500 for the Marie Keating Foundation.
The second of these events took place last February, raising over €1,600 for Galway Hospice.
Road to Renewal's chosen charity for this event, is Limerick Suicide Watch (LSW) who patrol the bridges and banks of the River Shannon in Limerick city, identifying and providing support to those who may require it.
As part of their suicide awareness programme and their community outreach programme, LSW visit schools, colleges, places of work and local communities to provide support, promote positive mental health and encourage conversation around mental health and suicide.
The Road to Renewal holistic practitioners promise that, for a donation of €30, with all proceeds going to the selected charity, you will float away after a blissful day of self-care.
They suggest you bring a friend or family member along to have a day out and get pampered.
You will be in the very capable hands of the holistic practitioners and will leave relaxed, informed and topped up from head to toe with an abundant energy of contentment and joy. Arriving early on the day is essential, to avoid disappointment.
