Irish Coast Guard personnel landed some home truths about water safety during a visit to Scoil na Trionoide Naofa in Doon.
Principal Helena Foley said students and staff were delighted to welcome the Irish Coast Guard helicopter to the school.
“The Coast Guard Team delivered a timely and important message about water safety which is particularly important for our students as they approach the summer break,” said Ms Foley.
Gardai from Bruff were also in attendance to proffer advice during the flying visit to the secondary school.
