A BIG crowd turned out on St Stephen's Day for the Dylan McCarthy Poc Fada (long puck).
The poc fada began outside Scoil Mocheallóg in Kilmallock.
The event was in memory of Dylan McCarthy who tragically passed away following an alleged assault in Monasterevin, County Kildare last year..
A poc fada is a competition that sees competitors battling it out over a long course by repeatedly hitting a sliotar with a hurley as far as you can and crossing the finish line first.
See our gallery for more pictures from the event.
