A SPECIAL family fun marking the end of the Muslim festival of Ramadan has taken place in Limerick.
Garryowen Rugby Club in Dooradoyle played host to a dinner to celebrate Eid, which brings to a close a month of fasting for those who follow the Islam faith.
All the money raised went towards the development of Limerick Cricket Club and its youth development programme.
There was be face-painting, a retro games arcade, and an ice-cream trucks.
And children got in the crease and challenged the grown-ups to a game of cricket!
