HOSPITAL Community Council helped banish the January blues by holding a Christmas dinner for senior citizens at the weekend. A large crowd enjoyed a lovely meal in the Deebert House Hotel in Kilmallock on Sunday. Canon Conor Ryan thanked one and all for coming and those who supported the bingo throughout the year which is what pays for the dinner. He also thanked all the community activists in the parish, including the sports clubs, and gave a special mention to St Vincent de Paul for all its good works. The spirit of Christmas was alive and well on the day and perfectly captured by photographer Ita West. For more photos, click 'Next'
