THERE was some early festive cheer at the community centre in Cappamore last weekend as Bilboa National School hosted one of first Christmas fairs of 2022.
The popular event, which was a fixture on the calendar prior to Covid, returned with a festive bang.
There was an array of bric-a-brac, crafts, Christmas decorations, cakes and lots of sweet treats, toys, books, fuel and, of course, the famous spin the wheel with fantastic prizes and hampers up for grabs.
There was also an appearance by Santa and Mrs Claus who dropped by on the day..
All of the monies raised from the Christmas Fair, which was well-supported, will go towards a new astroturf pitch at Bilboa National School.
