TWO HUNDRED ladies from across the Mid-West kicked off the summer season in style at the St. Gabriel's Ladies Summer Lunch in Adare.
To help fund the development of a sensory garden at the Children’s Respite House in Mungret, St Gabriel’s Foundation hosted the annual event at the Dunraven Arms Hotel.
The Respite House provides a “break” for families caring for children with complex medical needs.
Businesses from the region showed their support by donating raffle prizes and taking tables at the lunch.
Funds raised will be used to fulfil the dream of creating a sensory garden, which was not possible at the time of opening due to insufficient funding.
