LEO Limerick hosted a lunch and learn for 50 business people and entrepreneurs as part of Local Enterprise Week.
In a wide ranging discussion at the Engine Collaboration Centre, Limerick, Blaise Brosnan MRI, spoke about what motivates an entrepreneur, how to build a team of ‘opposites’, pricing and benchmarking.
Blaise noted the hunger for real-life interactions and congratulated the room on making the time to meet one another in-person.
Ciara Farrell, Senior Development Officer, commented: "This year we are encouraging on offering more in-person events to encourage Limerick SMEs to do business with one another and work together to promote businesses in Limerick to a national and international audience. The Lunch and Learns are a great way to get some expert input for an hour and then meet informally with other businesses over lunch before heading back to the office.”
During Enterprise Week, the LEO team also had a strong take up on one-to-one mentoring sessions for businesses which are available throughout the year.
