A LIMERICK priest celebrated his Golden Jubilee with parishioners in the community he has served for 26 years.
Fr. Seán Ó Longaigh is the parish priest at St Mary’s Church in Askeaton and has been in situ there since 1997.
Fr Seán was ordained to the priesthood in his native Dromcollogher in 1973.
He celebrated 50 years of service to the church with mass and a special celebration with parishioners.
