Investigation ongoing following alleged fake charity collection in Limerick
AN INVESTIGATION is ongoing after a man was stopped in Limerick city for allegedly conducting a bogus charity collection.
The alleged incident occurred on Saturday, September 23 on Cruises Street.
A man collecting money on behalf of charity was stopped by gardaí.
A spokesperson for the gardaí said that the alleged offences are being investigated under the Gaming and Lotteries Act.
