Kingfishr is set to perform in Thomond Park on July 10, 2027

LIMERICK band Kingfishr have announce details of outdoor headline shows in Limerick, Dublin and Belfast in 2027.

Having completed a run of rapturously received and emotionally charged stadium and arena shows across Ireland last weekend, the three shows will see Kingfishr play to a combined audience of 90,000+ people.

They will perform in Thomond Park on July 10, 2027 along with shows in Belfast on June 11 11 and in Marlay Park, Dublin on June 19.

The new dates show that the continued rise of Kingfishr shows no signs of slowing down. Their smash hit single ‘Killeagh’ became a cultural phenomenon, spending 17 weeks at #1 in Ireland while their debut album ‘Halcyon’ also hit #1. Their current single, ‘The Sun Will Never Settle’, has also already spent two weeks so far at the peak of the domestic charts. That success is translating in the UK too, with a #7 chart position for ‘Halcyon’ as well as 60,000 ticket sales for their recent headline tour which included two sold-out nights at the O2 Academy Brixton.

While their streaming growth has accelerated exponentially, much of their reputation has been forged through the electrifying energy, community spirit and passion of their live shows. Hot Press’ review of their recent St Anne’s Park show captured the atmosphere, stating: “Attendees in their thousands link arms, jive and sing along to the anthem, indifferent to the bucketing rain, which for me, eclipse any statistic in terms of a gauge in resonance.”

Frontman Eddie Keogh says,:“Before we started the band, we had been to many of the venues we played last week to see our favourite artists play: Mumford & Sons, Paolo Nutini, The Killers being the ones that spring to mind. Being on those stages was nothing short of an out of body experience. The support we felt every night was some we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We want to do it again, but bigger. So that’s what we’re doing.”

Tickets go on general sale HERE from 10am on Friday, June 26. Fans who sign up to the Kingfishr mailing list HERE can access a pre-sale which opens at 10am on Wednesday, June 24. A Mastercard pre-sale begins at the same time.

Tickets cost from €65.70 to €86.25 including booking fee, (subject to 12.5% service charge per ticket, max €10.50.)

In the meantime, Kingfishr will maintain a hectic touring schedule through to the close of the year. First up are a selection of UK and European festival dates, before they commence their biggest and already largely sold-out North American headline tour in August. Further festival dates that month include Reading and Leeds, before they again step up to headline their biggest venues so far in Europe throughout November and early December.
