Clayton Hotel Limerick launches its programme for the festive season
THERE’S been plenty of unexpected sights in the city this summer – but Santa Claus popping up at the urban beach is right up there!
Father Christmas rode into Steamboat Quay on his sleigh – four months early – to help promote the Clayton Hotel’s festive offerings.
Sales and marketing manager at the hotel Elaine Ryan and Lorraine Connellan were there to welcome Santa, who swapped his usual snowy surroundings for a rather more summery deck chair!
The Clayton Hotel’s Christmas brochure showcases everything guests, families, friends and colleagues can look forward to this December.
Ms Ryan said after meeting Santa: “What a morning! We couldn't have asked for a better way to launch our Christmas season. The sun was shining, Santa was in great form and the Christmas brochure got a fantastic welcome. We brought our festive spirit outside to the urban beach and had so much fun celebrating the start of what promises to be a wonderful Christmas season at Clayton Hotel Limerick.”
She said with Santa Claus making his first official appearance and the Christmas brochure now in place, the festive countdown at the hotel is now well and truly under way.
"Christmas has landed at Steamboat Quay — and it’s looking merry, bright and full of good cheer,” laughed Ms Ryan.
