THE annual Limerick Chamber Golf Classic is set to take place at Limerick Golf Club, Ballyclough on Thursday, June 7.

Mr Binman has been announced as principal sponsor for next month’s event.

Noel Gavin, president of Limerick Chamber, voiced his support for this event: "We are delighted to welcome Mr Binman back as our principal sponsor this year. We hope that with each year, we can continue to elevate and grow this event making it a staple summer event for our business community. The support from Mr Binman, our main sponsors, our tee sponsors, the participating teams, and our charity partner, Cliona’s Foundation, is truly heartening."

Joe Cleary, sales and marketing director at Mr Binman said they were delighted to partner with Limerick Chamber.

“The Limerick Chamber Golf Classic fosters a strong community spirit, which we are thrilled to be a part of. This event at the Limerick Golf Club is a fantastic opportunity for us to engage with the business community across the Midwest in an exciting and dynamic setting. Mr Binman proudly supports this offering, reinforcing our commitment to giving back and supporting our region.”

Brendan Ring, co-founder and volunteer CEO of Cliona’s Foundation and managing director  of Cube Printing  said “We are excited to network with all the teams at the upcoming Limerick Chamber Golf Classic, and we are proud and grateful to be the charity partner of this year’s golf classic. The Limerick Chamber Golf Classic, sponsored by Mr Binman, is an important platform for us to connect with the business community of the Mid-West creating awareness of the importance of the work we do, the support we provide and the impact of this support to families dealing with the diagnosis of a seriously sick child.

“At Cliona’s Foundation every donation and gesture of support makes a real difference to these families. In 2023 we distributed €502,000 to 214 families all over the country thanks to the generosity of the business community,  the general public and through families paying it forward”

Entry to the golf classic  is priced at €400 for a team of four, covering the golf round, goodie bags, midway refreshments, and lunch in the clubhouse after your round of golf.
