Limerick choir to raise money for Milford Care Centre with Christmas concert

THE Zion Vocal Ensemble has announced it will host a Christmas Concert later this month to support Milford Care Centre.
Admission to the concert, at the Great National South Court Hotel on December 8, is free but there will be bucket collection and raffle on the night.
Established in 2015, Zion Vocal Ensemble is a community choir made up of members from right across Limerick city and county, of all ages and abilities.
“We meet once a week and have performed at weddings, funerals, charity and community events,” explalined Musical Director Stephen Dunne.
All are welcome to attend what promises to be a fun and festive evening of entertainment with special guests, the fabulous Drumbanna Community Singers, some Christmas tunes with the wonderful Katerina O’Brien and Kaye Morrissey and Irish Folk and Ballads from Limerick’s own Treaty Celts.
Next week's concert is being dedicated to Breda McManus, a member of Zion who died last year.
Milford Care Centre is a voluntary, not-for-profit organisation and registered charity. It was first established by the Little Company of Mary Sisters in 1928 and now provides Specialist Palliative Care and Older Persons Services in the Mid-West.
Its Board of Directors and Management Team oversees its service delivery and fundraising activities.
