Limerick gardaí investigating two burglaries on same day

The two incidents happened in County Limerick
GARDAÍ are investigating two separate burglaries in Limerick on the same day.
The incidents took place in Ballylanders and Murroe on February 17 when both homeowners were out of the house.
The houses were in darkness in both incidents and criminals broke in through the rear door. Unfortunately, neither home had an alarm.
Sergeant Ber Leetch, crime prevention officer at Henry Street garda station said: "It was clear to the scenes of crime gardaí that the criminals took their time searching for money and jewellery.
"If you have an alarm fitted in your home, remember to set it when you leave also set up your home with lights on a timer to look like there is somebody home.
"A television simulator is also a good purchase, when plugged in, it looks from outside the house as if a television is on and somebody must be home."
