THE Limerick Gospel Choir will hold their annual Charity Christmas Concert in St Michael’s Church, Denmark Street, Limerick this Sunday, December 8 at 6pm.

Entry is free but there will be buckets where you can contribute/donate as little or as much as you wish.

The charity the choir has chosen this year is Limerick Animal Welfare.

Among the special guests this year are Naomi Carson, Nuschka Babela and the Milford Primary School Choir.

“I’m just a girl… who loves to sing! I come from a very musical family, so I could sing before I learned to ride a bike! I’ve always been a little obsessed with good harmonies, and inspired by heartfelt lyrics and powerful sounds. Music has helped me connect more deeply to myself, my emotions, and the Divine. I have been a vocalist in various music groups for over 15 years, and most recently I’ve been involved in some studio recording and songwriting projects, as well as curating musical events. I feel incredibly honoured to be joining Limerick Gospel Choir for this special night," said Naomi Carson.

Organisers promise an evening of classics, soul, gospel and Christmas tunes to get you in the festive spirit of Christmas and raise funds for a worthy charity.

Nuschka Babela explains that she has had a passion for singing since childhood.

"Coming from a deeply musical family, I’ve been fortunate to create my own music and collaborate with various artists and musicians across Ireland. Gospel music has always been especially meaningful to me, as it serves as both an uplifting art form and a profound expression of faith. Looking ahead, I’m excited to focus on writing more of my own music and further developing my unique sound," he said.
