DYLAN Flynn and The Dead Poets have shared a new music video for their latest single, The Story After They’re Gone.

The music video takes the viewer on a journey around rooms and locations close to the bands' heart.

The song follows a stream of consciousness story line where the narrator ponders his life after losing everyone around him, and the video tries to mimic that.

As the video progresses, the shots become more and more empty, eventually leaving Flynn to be the only person left.

Dylan Flynn explained: "This track talks about losing friends and family, and we wanted to capture that in visual form. We began creating scenes that felt like memories of moments spent with close ones, and as the video moves along, we wanted to show those memories falling apart."

The video was directed and edited by Jamie Moore, and shot by Wojciech Kwiatkowski, who are both long time collaborators with the band.

Last year was a big year for Dylan Flynn and The Dead Poets, seeing the group release their debut album and take on their biggest tours to date, which saw them play dates in Limerick, Galway, Belfast, London, as well as sold out shows in Cork and Dublin.

The Indie up-and-comers have gained almost 1,000,000 streams on Spotify, and secured support slots with acts such as NewDad, Milk, and Kingfishr.

The 5-piece, who blend elements of Jangle-Pop and Alt-Rock, take influence from artists such as The War on Drugs, Bon Iver, Radiohead and Tom Petty.
