The man had just returned home from the shops
A MAN in his 70s in Limerick has reported an incident of theft by opportunistic thieves.
On Sunday, February 18 at 8:30pm the man drove home to Corbally after going shopping.
While bringing the bags into his house he closed his front door to make sure that his dog could not run out.
When he returned to his car a few minutes later to lock it, he discovered that a pair of sunglasses was missing.
He returned to his house and looked at his CCTV. He could see that in the few minutes his car was unlocked two youths saw their chance.
They jumped his wall, opened his car door and searched the car. The only thing of value were the sunglasses and they took them.
