Limerick rapper announces intimate gig ahead of album release

The Caherdavin native released the album's lead single last week
LIMERICK artist Strange Boy, also known as Jordan McNally Kelly, has announced an exclusive album preview concert in Limerick city, following the release of his new single, God Help Him (Seemingly He Didn’t).
The track, released on Thursday, October 24, is the first from his "much-anticipated" second album, Say Nothin’, produced by Enda Gallery.
Known for his "unique fusion of Irish traditional music with modern hip-hop", the Caherdavin native’s "lyrical introspection and musical innovation" are fully on display in this release.
To celebrate the upcoming album, Strange Boy will be playing an album preview concert in the Commercial bar on December 15.
This intimate pre-release event will feature a full live performance of the album before final recordings commence in the studio.
The concert promises to be a chance for fans to experience the unreleased music firsthand, in a "raw and vulnerable setting" before its official 2025 release.
Described as a "titanic project" by Strange Boy, the album "continues his legacy as a truth-seeker and truth-speaker, combining his poetic Limerick accent with themes of personal growth and cultural identity".
Tickets for the intimate Limerick concert are available on Eventbrite.
