Limerick solicitors' firm wins top prize at national legal awards
MHP Sellors Solicitors named Irish Law Firm of the Year at Leap Irish Law Awards 2025
A CITY centre-based firm of solicitors has been announced as the Irish Law Firm of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony.
MHP Sellors Solicitors, located at Glentworth Street, received the honour at the Leap Irish Law Awards 2025.
The overall prize was one of three secured by MHP Sellors on the night.
The law firm of the year title is typically awarded to larger law companies, but judges recognised a number of achievements by MHP Sellors.
This includes its expansion across Limerick and Clare, its investment in technology and systems, regulatory and compliance track record, and support for the not-for-profit and charity sectors.
“We are delighted to see our team’s efforts acknowledged at a national level with this top prize,” said Stephen Keogh, managing partner of MHP Sellors.
“This award coincides with the 10th anniversary of the merger of FB Keating and Co and Connolly Sellors Geraghty Solicitors in Limerick and three years since the subsequent merger with Michael Houlihan and Partners in Ennis,” he added.
Mr Keogh thanked the firm’s clients and colleagues for their trust and dedication over this period.
“I’d like to especially acknowledge our partners Ian Sheehy, Marina Keane, Caroline Meaney, Ronan Hynes, and Derek Walsh, and all of our staff who have contributed to the development of the firm,” said Mr Keogh.
MHP Sellors now operates with more than 50 staff across offices in Ennis and Limerick.
It’s the largest legal practice in Co Clare and the most established dual-county firm in the region.
Now in its 13th year, the Leap Irish Law Awards recognises excellence across the legal industry.
