Limerick student wins prestigious scholarship from city law firm

A KILMALLOCK student has won a prestigious scholarship from a city centre law firm.

Brian Daly, a law and accounting student at University of Limerick, was honoured with a scholarship from Homes O’Malley Sexton, based at Henry Street.

He was given the scholarship in recognition of his academic achievements, with the company saying his dedication and work set him apart.

“We are proud to support his journey towards a promising career in law,” they added.

It’s the second time Brian has received the scholarship from Homes O’Malley Sexton.

Back in 2021, he was recognised in his first year of college.

“I’m delighted to have achieved the results to merit the honour of this scholarship. This financial support is really encouraging as I continue my studies and I’m very grateful to Holmes O’Malley Sexton LLP for the recognition,” Brian added.

Holmes O’Malley Sexton has given out scholarships to local law students for more than 30 years.
