As one of 26 contestants, the Croom woman is the only Limerick participant to qualify for the 15th annual final.

Limerick woman Ava Moloney has been announced as a finalist in this year's Miss Bikini Ireland competition.

As one of 26 contestants, the Croom woman is the only Limerick participant to qualify for the 15th annual final.

The event will be hosted at the Bonnington Hotel in Dublin this Sunday, June 21, where Miss Bikini Ireland 2026 will be crowned following deliberation by the judging panel.

The winner will earn the opportunity to represent Ireland on the international stage at the Swimsuit USA International World Finals 2026.

24-year-old Ava says her entry to the competition came after her experience in the Miss Ireland 2020 competition, where she achieved a spot in the Miss Limerick final.

"I've watched girls I know compete in Miss Bikini Ireland. I saw how it brought them out of their comfort zone completely, and opened a lot of doors for opportunities", the Kerry College graduate explained.

In an Instagram announcement, Miss Bikini Ireland shared that they "couldn't be prouder" of the "amazing women" competing in Sunday's final.

"These remarkable women have demonstrated confidence, resilience, and dedication throughout their Miss Bikini Ireland journey. From personal growth and unforgettable experiences to lifelong friendships and achievements, each finalist has embraced every moment of this incredible adventure", the post read.

Ava shared that while it would "obviously be incredible" to take the crown and represent Ireland on the global stage, she competes with the personal goal to "get back my own confidence" and "step out of my comfort zone".

"I'd love to show girls with all different body types that any girl can do this. Especially being into motor sports, it's really nice to show other girls who can be tomboys that they can do this as well", she shared.

Grabbing the opportunity with "both hands", Ava says that, alongside the chance to build her portfolio, she has made "friends for life" and gained experience that will help her "progress in my keen interest in modelling".
