Limerick's Celia Holman Lee in roaring red for Halloween

SPOOKY season was well and truly underway when we celebrated in style at the RTÉ Today Show, Halloween special.
We had a wonderful time and the camaraderie was mighty!
Presenters Dáithí Ó’Sé and Sinead Kennedy were all dressed up in fancy costumes and I myself wore a ‘roaring red’ rigout, with feather cuffs.
Visiting RTÉ Cork is always a pleasure, and Cork is such a beautiful place, full of character. The studio was decorated lavishly, with loads of spooky surprises and even pumpkins carved to look like the Today Show presenters!
The atmosphere was wonderful, and even the guests put in so much effort, dressing from vampires to wicked witches for the day that was in it.
It is great to work with Maybell Lady Plus boutique, a plus-sized store located in Newbridge, Kildare. They went down a ‘treat’ and no ‘tricks’ were played on set this year!
The ladies themselves attended and were in the spirit wearing some fancy dress accessories, too. The audience is always very receptive and appreciative when it comes to boutiques on TV, as you can see and watch how the models showcase outfits in real-time.
The models for our fashion show segment came from all over the country, a lot of them came from Naas to be there and they thoroughly enjoyed the day as it was full of fun and festive cheer.
It is sometimes difficult to come across boutiques that specialise in plus sizes, and so Maybell is so admirable as her business is becoming more and more popular.
These types of boutiques are becoming more accessible, thankfully.
I will be back on TV screens soon, and next week I will be with Sinead’s Boutique in Annacotty, which I am so looking forward to.
