MOTORISTS are being advised to expect significant delays on one of the busiest roads in County Limerick this week due to planned roadworks.

Limerick City and County Council says Macadam Reinstatement Works will begin this Monday on the main N69 on the Western approach to Foynes village.

A stop go traffic management operation will be in place every day this week while the works are underway at the L6126 Marine Cove Junction.

According to a public notice, the works are scheduled to take place between 8am and 6pm each day until Friday/

The local authority is apologising to motorists and other road users for any inconvenience caused.
