Motorists warned of slip road closure following collision close to Limerick motorway

MOTORISTS are being advised that the slip road linking the N20 with the M20 motorway at Patrickswell has been closed following a collision.

It's understood the incident, involving a vehicle and a cyclist, happened at around 3.45 this Tuesday afternoon.

While the motorway and the main N20 both remain fully open the southound slip road at junction 5 (from Croom/Cork) has been closed.

Gardai are in attendance at the scene while paramedics from the National Ambulance Service also attended.

It's not known if any injuries have been sustained.
