MUSIC NETWORK opens its autumn season of tours with a newly-curated ensemble featuring the vocal blend of Connemara siblings Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta, alongside pianist and composer Ryan Molloy.

Running from September 11 to 26, the tour will showcase a mix of traditional and contemporary musical offerings, with a performance at Belltable, Limerick on 13 September.

Séamus and Caoimhe Uí Fhlatharta, siblings from the Connemara Gaeltacht, were named Best Emerging Artists at the 2024 RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards.

Known for their sean nós singing and unique Irish and English song arrangements, their sibling harmonies have drawn wide praise.

Their 2022 Late Late Show performance of ‘Anach Cuain’ went viral, introducing global audiences to sean nós. They’ve also appeared on Other Voices and TG4’s Fleadh TV.

Composer and pianist Ryan Molloy, TG4 Gradam Ceoil 2024 Composer of the Year, has performed internationally for over two decades. Nominated for the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards in 2020 and 2021, he has featured on over 30 albums across traditional Irish and contemporary classical genres.

The tour will also feature two new tunes, Oileán Mhic Dara and Inis Múscraí, commissioned by Music Network, composed by Ryan and performed by the trio. These three artists unite for the first time, promising a night to remember.
