My Week with Celia Holman Lee: An eye for style at Women of Vision awards

A Limerick winner was Sinead O’Brien, more popularly known as Sinead Curvy Style
WE HEADED off to the Radisson Blu in Cork for the Hi Style Villa Maria Women of Vision Awards 2024, and oh, what a night!
It was just incredible, as the focus of the ceremony is to showcase and award Irish female entrepreneurs and businesswomen.
The Limerick winner on the night was none other than Sinead O’Brien, more popularly known as Sinead Curvy Style.
The extraordinarily talented woman founded her own shapewear and swimwear brand, Vacious by Sinead. The Patrickswell native took the Women Empowerment award on the night. How very proud I am of you, Sinead!
RTÉ’s Miriam O’Callaghan was host on the night, where Irish women in academia, science, beauty and indeed, fashion were recognised for their work and efforts in a range of areas.
Taoiseach Simon Harris even made an appearance on the night and I had the honour of speaking to him - albeit a brief chat!

I wore a floor-length, teal-coloured gown and was over the moon that Frances Fitzgerald mentioned me in her award-acceptance speech on stage. How honoured I was after Ms Fitzgerald said that she admired me and my style!
Limerick women stick together and it is important that we support each other!
Like so many other Limerick hurling supporters were, I was so disappointed for our boys with the outcome of the match but we all remain so very proud of the team and their efforts. We will dust ourselves off and hit the ground running again!
