My week with Celia Holman Lee: ‘Hi’ style at the beauty awards

THE HI Beauty awards really did live up to its name this season, as it was ‘high-style’ and ‘high-end’ fashion all round!
I was delighted to attend the prestigious Hi Style Passoã Hair and Beauty Awards 2024, which took place at the esteemed Radisson Blu Hotel in Cork on March 24.
The red carpet-themed event saw plenty of glamour and with the theme being ‘bejewelled’, we turned up and dazzled!
Hundreds of wonderful hair and beauty specialists and stylists were nominated from all over the country to represent their businesses on the national stage.
From nails to hair, and makeup to hair extension experts, there were categories in the awards for every aspect of the beauty industry.
The talent is extraordinary and truly heartwarming to see, as is the passion of everyone involved. How wonderful it was to see these zealous entrepreneurs, stylists and beauticians be recognised and awarded for their hard work and dedication.
I wore a floor-length black ball gown by Phoenix V, with a sweetheart neckline and beautiful silk, golden puff sleeves.
I fell in love with the dress and what stood out to me was the pin on the waistband, which represented the wings of an angel.
This ensured I fit the bejewelled theme of the night!
MAC Limerick did my makeup which was as flawless as ever. I paired the dress with a gold clutch bag and an upstyle for my hair in an old-glam, beehive style.
I was so impressed by all the Limerick-based talent that were nominated for the awards and was so proud to see the overwhelming support around the room - there was an electric atmosphere.
I look forward to more award ceremonies to come this spring and summer and am once again truly honoured to be a part of these prestigious events.
