No fireworks but plenty of options to ring in 2023 in Limerick
THERE WILL be no fireworks to welcome in the New Year but there are still plenty of ways to celebrate the start of 2023 in Limerick.
In previous years there has been a fireworks display over the River Shannon in Limerick city to mark the countdown to midnight however, they will not be going ahead this year.
2023 may not be starting with a bang but there are other options to ring in the New Year in style across the city and county.
A number of hotels are hosting special dinners and parties featuring food, music and entertainment to see off the end of 2022.
The Strand, the Absolute Hotel and the Castletroy Park Hotel are just some of the establishments holding events on the night.
