THE LIMERICK hurlers and manager John Kiely got a big welcome from all patients and staff at Children's Health Ireland (CHI) at Crumlin this Monday but especially from the O’Leary family who all wore their Limerick jerseys with pride.
Baby Paige was even gently placed in the Liam MacCarthy Cup for a priceless photograph. The players and John made time for every boy and girl as well as the hard-working staff in Crumlin.
Vsiting children, who are unwell, is one of the nicest traditions of the All-Ireland champions on the day after their triumph. Sportsfile photographer Shauna Clinton took an array of gorgeous pictures during their time in the hospital.
After leaving Crumlin, Limerick players and management will be packing their bags to get the train back to Limerick for the homecoming in Pery Square this evening.
