STORM Éowyn has left a trail of destruction across Limerick city and county, with violent winds causing widespread damage.
Fallen trees, battered rooftops, and other structural damage have left roads completely blocked causing treacherous driving and walking conditions for the local public.
Since the Status Red warning was lifted at 10am this Friday, emergency services have been out working tirelessly to clear debris and restore power to homes and businesses.
As the emergency services and residents begin the daunting task of the big clean-up, these photos capture the destruction Éowyn wrought on homes, businesses, and public spaces throughout the early hours of this Friday.
