POLL: Limerick’s All Time Great - Blindboy Boat Club and Michael Hogan, Bard of Thomond

TWO poetic geniuses square off in the seventh of our polls to find Limerick’s All Time Great.

It is plastic bag wearing rapper, best-selling author, podcast giant and Rubberbandit Blindboy Boatclub up against Michael Hogan, the Bard of Thomond, whose verses achieved an enormous circulation and caused a great sensation in the late 1800s.

Sixteen people have been selected from hundreds of nominations and now the fun really begins as we run a series of online polls pitting our nominees head-to-head at quarter-final, semi-final and eventually, final stage over the coming weeks.

Who will win? You decide! The poll will close on Friday.
