PRIMARY school students are getting ready to remodel Limerick into a 3D city, from the comfort of their classrooms.

Team Limerick Clean-Up (TLC) has announced the launch of its creative art competition for Limerick Primary school students.

TLC, now in its eighth year, aims to highlight to young kids how fun, useful and achievable being sustainable can be with its latest competition, which challenges kids to create a 3D version of a Limerick Landmark using only recycled or recyclable materials.

Whether it’s King John’s Castle, Thomond Park Stadium or the Milk Market, pupils are invited to put their imaginations to the test to create replicas of Limerick’s well-known sights using what they have available to them in their classrooms.

There are great prizes to be won, including vouchers for classroom tech, a cinema trip, art supplies and more!

The deadline is Friday, March 3. Full terms and conditions can be found on Team Limerick Clean-Up’s website.
