Róisín with strong Limerick roots crowned the International Rose of Tralee 2023

THE NEW York Rose of Tralee, Róisín Wiley, has been crowned the International Rose of Tralee 2023.
Limerick was well represented in The Kingdom with Limerick Rose Molli-Ann O'Halloran also flying the green and white flag.
Róisín is linked to Limerick through her parents - her mother Majella is from Templeglantine and her father Eddie is from Kilmallock.

Before being crowned Rose, presenter Daithí O'Sé reminded viewers how Róisín eventually replaced Declan Hannon with the Liam MacCarthy Cup as her father's phone screensaver!
Dr Sinead Flanagan was the last Limerick Rose to be crowned winner in 2019. The NY Rose is the 63rd winner.
Róisín will enjoy a worldwide round-trip worth over €25,000, a new car, a week-long trip to Kerry as well as much much more. The 2022 Rose was Rachel Duffy of Westmeath.
