This year’s UCH Panto Jack and the Beanstalk runs from December 14 until January 10

ACCLAIMED Irish singer-songwriter Tolü Makay will have her debut pantomime appearance this Christmas in Limerick.

Tolü will star as the magical fairy in Jack and the Beanstalk in the University Concert Hall panto, produced by Robert C Kelly.

One of the country’s most celebrated vocalists, Tolü has captivated audiences across Ireland and abroad with her powerhouse performances and has become one of the nation's most recognisable musical talents.

Now, for the very first time, she is bringing her voice, warmth and charisma to the UCH stage for a spectacular festive adventure.

“I've always loved the magic of live performance, and taking part in my very first pantomime is something really special.

“I can't wait to meet audiences at University Concert Hall Limerick this Christmas, wave my magic wand, and be part of such a wonderful family Christmas tradition,” Tolü said.

She joins an outstanding cast including TV personality John Sharpson playing Seamus, panto legend Myles Breen as Dame Trot, Keith Hanley as Fleshcreep, Chris Currid as Pat the Cow, Cian O'Riain as Jack and Caoileann Faith as Jill.

“We're delighted to welcome Tolü to the UCH family. She is one of Ireland's most exciting performers and we know audiences are going to fall in love with her as our magical fairy.

“To have Tolü making her pantomime debut with us makes this year's production even more special,” said UCH director Sinéad Hope.

The panto runs from December 14 until January 10, 2027 with matinee and evening shows. Tickets start at €24 and see www.uch.ie or call the box office on 061 331549 for more.
