‘This album does have a darker side, this is a taste of it’: Limerick's own Dead Poets share teaser ahead of album release

DYLAN Flynn & The Dead Poets have shared a new single ahead of the release of their upcoming album.

A song about hiding from your past, the new track titled ‘shadows’ is now out on all platforms.

Speaking of the new release, frontman Dylan Flynn said: “This was one of the last tracks that came together for the album. I wrote it about a dark period in my life when I was finding it hard to process my emotions and acting out of character. This song acted as a way for me to deal with how I felt at that time. It’s a little bit heavier and more aggressive than what we have put out so far, but it reflects what I was feeling at that time.

“As I said before, this album does have a darker side, and this is a taste of it. Thank you as always for your continued support. Not long left now until the album is out,” Dylan added.

Dylan Flynn & The Dead Poets’ new album will be out on Friday, October 11.
