Tractor safety course for teenagers at Limerick Show
Parents are asked to register their children before show day
TEENAGERS attending Limerick Show on Sunday, August 25 can not only enjoy a display of machinery but get behind the wheel during an advanced tractor course.
The course took place on two dates last year in Kilmallock Mart with excellent feedback from participants and parents. One of those involved in organising the course is the current NDC and Kerrygold Quality Milk Award winner, John Macnamara from Knockainey.
The aim of the course is to help save lives and make the roads a safer place following a number of machinery-related incidents in recent years.
The event at Limerick Show will feature practical tractor driving experience as well as tractor driving theory.
Parents of young drivers are asked to email [email protected] to register for the advanced tractor course ahead of show day.
