WATCH: Breathless fans give their reaction after epic Limerick Cork clash
LIMERICK Live's Faye Dorgan caught up with some of the 40,847 supporters who trooped out of the TUS Gaelic Grounds after an epic match between Limerick and Cork.
Some were relieved, others dejected but each and everyone was exhausted after watching a throwback to the Munster championship of old on a scorching hot Sunday.
It was the Limerick fans who were smiling as they came out on top by a point in a scoreline of 3-25 to 1-30.
"I'm breathless! I'm more tired than the players out on the field. Unbelievable result," said one supporter who was sitting in the shade.
Limerick march on, surprisingly, to a Munster final against Clare after Tipperary's shock loss to Waterford who had nothing to play for.
While Cork exit the championship in cruel fashion after a win, a draw and two one point losses in their four games.
