AFTER a flurry of online voting, we are into the second round of voting to find Limerick’s All Time Great.
From eight polls featuring 16 contestants who were selected from hundreds of nominations and a first round of voting that threw up some interesting results, we are now down to the final eight.
The draw has been done and a new series of polls will ask you, the reader, to determine who is Limerick’s All Time Great.
Watch the video to see the draw, with the match ups listed below. The polls will run until Friday.
“We have had a super reaction to the search to find Limerick’s All Time Great and the names that are remaining, be they from business, charity, sport, entertainment, politics and historical, are all people who have contributed greatly to local life in this county and this recognises their work,” explained Eugene Phelan, editor of The Limerick Leader.
