WATCH: 'Unsung heroes' celebrated at Limerick Person of the Year awards
The awards were held at the Clayton Hotel in Limerick city
'SELFLESSNESS' and community were at the centre of this year's Limerick Person of the Year awards.
Milford Care Centre were named the Limerick Persons of the Year 2023 with rugby legend Keith Earls honoured with a lifetime achievement award.
This is the 23rd year of the awards that were set up to honour the achievements and success of local people at home and abroad.
The 12 monthly recipients of the Limerick Person of the Month awards in 2023 were: Monaleen intermediate hurling team, Hermitage Green, Serosep, Molli-Ann O’Halloran, Fr Seamus Enright, Munster Rugby, Limerick senior hurling team, Milford Care Centre, Limerick Youth Service, Ben Holland, Croom Community Development Association and Dermot Whelan.

The Limerick Person of the Year award is jointly sponsored by the Limerick Leader, media agency Southern, and the Clayton Hotel.
