82 rapid-build homes to be delivered to a site in Tipperary before the end of January

Clonmel site has been prepared to receive the new homes
The site on Heywood Road, Clonmel is now ready to receive 82 rapid-build homes to provide accommodation for Ukrainian families fleeing the war in their own country.
John Sisk & Sons has been preparing the site on behalf of the Office of Public Works.
SERVICES
These works included the provision of services such as water, wastewater, electricity, street lighting, roadways, footpaths, and green spaces.
FINAL INSTALLATION
Deputy Michael Murphy has been informed by John Sisk & Sons that the delivery of the units will commence towards the end of January and that final installation of the homes and completion of works will be completed shortly thereafter.
“We will be liaising with Tipperary County Council, businesses and clubs in the area to brief them on the delivery plans and to help ensure that any disruption to normal activities is minimised,” a representative of John Sisk & Sons told Deputy Murphy.
OPW
The spokesman for the company said the accommodation for Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection was being provided by the Office of Public Works.
The project was being carried out on behalf of the Department for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth in meeting Ireland’s obligations under the EU Temporary Protection Directive.
