Ah, go on, go on, go on..... Vintage afternoon tea in Tipperary village this Saturday

Vintage Afternoon Tea

The date is Saturday, June 10. The time is 2pm. Book your ticket for the Vintage Afternoon Tea at Burncourt Community Hall. This inviting social event is a fundraiser for the ongoing maintenance costs of the Mountain Lodge Restoration Project.

As part of the afternoon, there will be a screening of the recent Retracing Project Documentary – The Social History of Glengarra Mountain Lodge.

This documentary has amazing footage of Glengarra and the stories of those who knew the Lodge in former times.

To encourage your creativity and to celebrate summer, there will be a prize for the best “Floral Headdress or Hat”. Tickets at €20 will include your glass of Prosecco, plenty of nibbles, savoury and sweet and a great opportunity to spend the afternoon in the company of family and friends.

Booking by Thursday, June 8 by phoning 0872887615 or 0876967661 or at Maureen Creed’s Shop.

Tickets are limited. Ah go on, go on, go on!
