ALERT: Sunny spells this week and temperatures up to 20C and 'possibly a little higher'

High pressure firmly in control for the coming week on latest charts, says forecaster Alan O'Reilly.

He added: "That means settled and mainly dry weather with sunny spells. Temperatures getting up to 20C and possibly a little higher later in week.

"Next weekend also looking good at present with high pressure possibly holding onto the following week."
