Tipperary-based horse racing trainer Aidan O'Brien won the Epsom Derby for the third year running, while achieving a record-extending 11th success overall when Lambourn stormed to victory this afternoon.
The colt made virtually all the running to come home an impressive winner for jockey Wayne Lordan.

The win completed a notable double for the Ballydoyle-based trainer, after Minnie Hauk won the Oaks at Epsom yesterday.
O’Brien said: "Wayne gave him an incredible ride. I’m delighted for Wayne, he’s a great fellow, he does so much hard work.
"Everybody knew what he was going to do, he’s very straightforward, Wayne knew he’d stay so he went forward.
"He’s a very fit, genuine horse.
"I’d say he’s probably an Irish Derby horse but he will get further as well, he’s very uncomplicated".
The winner was returned at odds of 13/2, as he beat his more fancied stablemates, the 2-1 favourite Delacroix and The Lion in Winter.
Lazy Griff was second at 50/1 while Tennessee Stud, which is trained by Aidan O'Brien's son Joseph, was third at odds of 28/1.
