Appeal lodged for Tipperary County Council's refusal of 86 homes in Thurles
A decision on the appeal is due in November
An appeal has been lodged with An Bord Pleanála against a decision by Tipperary County Council to refuse planning permission for an 86-home development in Thurles.
The planning application lodged by Sinead Maher was refused by the council on June 27, 2024.
The development at Hayfield Manor, Bohernamona, Thurles, is for five detached houses, 60 semi-detached houses and 21 terraced houses and includes a two-storey 230sqm creche and a pumping station.
The development would also include the decommissioning of an existing wastewater treatment plant, the removal of derelict infrastructure and all associated site works on lands.
A decision by An Bord Pleanála is due on November 25, 2024.
