Light of Love

Christmas brings much joy and laughter but can also bring a lot of sadness. Days can be long for those bereaved, but nights can be longer. Anam Cara are encouraging people to reach out if they need support, whether it is a friend, a colleague, or a support organisation like themselves.

Many will struggle over the weeks ahead so look out for those who may need a listening ear, be present for them, amongst the madness of the festive season.

This Christmas, Anam Cara is asking everyone to light up their virtual Christmas Tree with a very special “Light of Love”, in memory of a loved one. By donating, you will be helping Anam Caras work with bereaved parents all over Ireland. To get involved, check out their website www.anamcara.ie

On Monday 18th December, Anam Cara will hold their Tipperary meeting in The Horse & Jockey Hotel, Thurles at 7:15pm. All bereaved parents from the area are welcome, regardless of the age their child died or circumstances of death. There is no need to register, just arrive on the evening at 7:15pm.
