Big wins for Thurles students at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann
From the Ursuline Secondary School, Thurles notes
Well done to Mairéad O’Brien, Sixth Year, who won the All Ireland U18 Fiddle Slow Air competition at Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Wexford earlier this month.
Mairéad also came third in the fiddle competition.
Kate Duffy, who will be starting in the Urusline in First Year this week, won the U15 Fiddle Slow Air competition.
A fantastic accomplishment for both students, the school is lucky to have such talent.
