Tipp Gardai seized a motorcycle
Tipperary Gardaí from the Roads Policing Unit have seized a motorcycle after stopping a rider in Roscrea who was found to be dangerously underdressed and unlicensed.
The motorcyclist was spotted wearing just a t-shirt and shorts while operating the motorbike—an outfit described by Gardaí as wholly inappropriate and unsafe for such activity.
Upon stopping the individual, officers discovered that the rider also did not hold a valid motorcycle licence.
In a statement shared via social media, An Garda Síochána emphasised the seriousness of the offence,“After pulling over the poorly dressed biker, we also found they were not in possession of a proper motorcycle licence. The bike was seized and court to follow.”
The rider now faces a court appearance for multiple traffic offences.
