Tipperary County Council is now considering a proposal to bring a brand new residential estate to the area.

Marion Carey has applied to the council for the following development.

The proposal features 36 two-storey homes, offering a mix of 11 two-bedroom townhouses, 21 three-bedroom townhouses, and 4 three-bedroom semi-detached houses.

To create a welcoming entrance, two existing houses would be removed, making way for a new access point and a compact building for electrical equipment. The project also includes estate signage and various site enhancements.

The council is required to issue a decision by 24 March.
